Artisan Jewelry Gift Certificate Giveaway
$25 Gift Certificate
From Zeba Collection ($25 value) – Open worldwide
One of the drawbacks of having an online shop is missing the interaction with the customers. In a retail store you can be the fly on the wall and hear customer's opinions while they shop. So, this giveaway is to give me a change to hear your suggestions about my shop, products, policies and so on. To show my appreciation for your time and help I am offering Free shipping on your first purchase to anyone that participates, in addition for a chance to be entered in the drawing for a $25 gift certificate from my Etsy Shop. Gift certificates must be redeemed through my Etsy shop only toward the purchase of products listed in the online shop.

Well, I must say that I think your jewelry is lovely! The only suggestion I could give is that maybe you could add more "delicate" pieces - necklaces and such that might just have 1 or 2 simple elements?

Celeste, if I didn't know better, I would say you have been talking to my daugther. That is exactly what she said a while back. I have to work on that.
ReplyDeleteThank you,
I LOVE your jewelry! I have a couple of thoughts:
ReplyDelete1. Divide it into categories categories for COLOR!
2. I love this picture so much: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=30178597
I think that all your pictures should be taken against natural elements to add consistency and flow to all items!
I love the variety in your shop. I especially like: From The Stars Down To Earth - Argentium Sterling Silver And Stardust Beads Bracelet

I really like your style - clean and quite simple.
ReplyDeleteI'm new follower
ReplyDeleteI have to say I love your work. I like how you mix materials, and I like that the price range quite broad is, please keep it that way. Incorporating simpler, purer (but still as distinctive) items would broaden your clientele. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeletePut a link back to this post on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI'd like the necklaces to be modelled by a real person, not a mannequin. Especially the pearls: they are not visible on white.

ReplyDeleteI wish there was a category called "simple elegance" with clean lines, single colours, etc. It's the only type of jewelry I see missing in your shop. An example would be http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15759210

Your jewelry is lovely. I do wish there were a few pieces that were a little on the simpler, more delicate side. Also, I'm sure you work really hard on the pieces and the materials are costly, but most things are out of my price range. That came to my mind. Otherwise, I'd love to have some of your pieces!!

you make some wonderful jewelry! did you just recently rearrange the items in your shop by color? the first page of your shop shows a lot of purple/pink items which gave me the impression that you make and sell mostly purple/pink jewelry. then i checked the other pages and saw that it wasn't the case. i think you should mix up the colours so your visitors can see that you do, indeed, sell jewelry in a wide variety of colors. happy to help! :)

Thank you everyone for the wonderful suggestions. Thank you Sarah for the only purple jewelry comment. I have changed the order in my shop already.
ReplyDeleteI love your jewelry, it's all so beautiful and bold, very unique as well. The only suggestion i would make would be sorting them by what they are, like, necklaces, bracelets etc, so that people can browse through your store more easily, although you have already sorted them out by types and such.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance! :)

Hello!
ReplyDeleteI really liked the one-of-a-kind pieces, but i noticed that there were no rings... also, i think that you should definitely have a vintage section, i noticed a couple of pieces that have a vintage feel in them :) HTH!

I like the FAQ in the shop policies section, I think that is very helpful for those who are less knowledgeable about various materials and techniques :)

I love the colors on your jewelry. I like the fact that you make your jewelry attract the eye with the shimmery looks of silver and shimmery colored beads. And then I said whoa, what is this a Carved Bone Skeleton, how diverse is this. Different, but not ready to make that leap yet. I'll stick with all the other beautiful things you make but it is still cool. haha
ReplyDeleteI was browsing through your shop and loves everything you have there! The Original Sterling Silver Flower and Fox Tail Chain Bracelet is one of my many favorites :)

ReplyDeletetjfirth@yahoo.com
I love bold and/or unusual pieces. I adore your Chinese Knot pieces, and would love to see them in even more metal & stone combinations. Also a big fan of wire crochet jewelry.
ReplyDeleteI think your high-end pieces may be better showcased in their own shop. Their perceived value may be diminished by some when sandwiched between $10 and $30 items (even though the inexpensive pieces are lovely).
heidig@gmail.com
My first thought is that the photos are diverse, which is lovely, but I'm actually a fan of photos that tend to be more standardized when it comes to angles, lighting, and backdrops. There's definitely arguments for both.
ReplyDeleteMainly I want to say the shop is lovely :-)

You have some nice pieces! I would love to see some rings or charm bracelets. Those seem to be my favorite. But as another user said, The prices are bit out of my range for jewelry. I know some pieces these days are a bit expensive to put it all together though. Maybe consider buying in bulk so lower prices for you which in turn lower prices for customers?

Your jewelry is lovely. One comment about the organization of the shop though, I think you could add more catagories and list jewelry the color or theme. I know when I look at shops I rarely go past the first page of a catagory, breaking it into smaller catagories would be good.

ReplyDeleteI would like to see more Stiletto style earrings. Those are my favorite from your shop.

I like a lot of your stuff but it would be easier to get to if categorized by bracelet, earrings, necklace, etc.
ReplyDeleteLadytink_534(at)yahoo(dot)com
I particularly like the jewelry when it is photographed in the rustic setting against wood. I feel like it displays the product better than the white background - it really makes the jewelry stand out!

I love how much of a variety of items you have in your shop (keep it up!) I think my favorites are the wired crochet and knot jewelry. They're beautiful:)

I love your jewelry! My only suggestion on the page is in the sort drop down list, include the type of jewelry - necklace, bracelett...
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know that I added your contest to doubleprizes.com and hopefully more people find your blog.

Thank you very much for the comments. A lot of you have asked for different search or categories. Unfortunetly, on Etsy, I am only limited to 10 categories and one piece can only belong to one category. However, Etsy does provide a search button on the top of the page that can be use for searching items in my shop by any category you can think of. Thanks again for all the wonderful comments.
ReplyDeleteThe jewelry is very beautiful and unique how you use earthy and tones that you can wear with everyday clothes. Its elegant while fancy at the same time. I love handmade stuff anyways but jewelry is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI really like the Starfish And The Amethyst Necklace - Cast in Sterling Silver. I think the shipping cost to Canada is reasonable.

ReplyDeleteEverything in the shop is so lovely and my favorite is the Rose Quartz and Crystal Handmade Filigree Y Necklace
ReplyDeletetanyainjville@yahoo.com
You have very pretty, unique jewelry. One suggestion I would make is to have the main picture not be so close up. It's great to see the detail, but it can be hard to tell what is an earing and what is a pendant from so close. Other than that, your site looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou have very lovely works. I really like the Sterling Silver Serpent Necklace, though I would never be able to afford something like that. Still a beautiful piece of art!

I love your store! I particularly like the pearl necklaces as they aren't just your traditional strand of pearls- those are classic and beautiful too, but there's a time and a place, you know? Church, family dinners, whatever. Your pearl necklaces are creative and can be worn to accessorize a casual OR formal outfit- that's hard to do! Congrats!
